I think that this image from my challenge was my most successful photo because it captured the models clothing in a cool way. The color scheme for this particular runway walk & collection displayed a lot of vibrance, so I wanted to use this photo as an example of complementary colors. I think the most challenging aspect of this assignment was having to think about what content I was creating and how I was doing it (remembering some of the tips from the lecture video); for me, in my everyday life, I feel like I don't have many cool things to photograph, and when I do, I'm not really focused on how I am taking the photos. In the future, I want to be more conscious of how I am photographing pictures, to make more of an effort photographing images in a more appealing way. Overall, this challenge really pushed me to capture things more creatively and think about what I am taking, which is something I haven't had to do in a while!

"Hi Alexandra, your photography for this challenge really stood out to me! Not only was I drawn to how you organized your photography, but I love the range in photos taken. Reading how you also experienced challenges in figuring out what to photograph resonated with me, because I also experienced challenges in this area. I love how the colors all coordinated well with the concept of analogous colors, based on the lighting from the concert; I also appreciated the angle that the photograph was taken because it allowed for the artists to be captured in a more cohesive manner. I really love how you captured other audience members too, but I wonder if you cropped your image some, if it would alleviate some of the negative space towards the top of the image, to place more focus on the main subjects (the artist, the stage & some of the audience). Overall, you did a great job!"
